Ronan Regan from Galway, Ireland graduated from University of Limerick's Masters in Traditional Irish Music Performance. He plays fiddle, dances sean-nós and sets, and teaches throughout Ireland & abroad. 

Maldon Meehan from Portland, Oregon also graduated from University of Limerick with an MA in dance.  She has been teaching both sean-nós and  Irish set dancing for 14yrs.

On this DVD,  Maldon and Ronan demonstrate 12 traditional Sean-Nós steps at normal speed. This is followed by a S-L-O-W breakdown of those 12  steps for you to follow along and learn.  Sean-Nós, literally meaning "old style", is a highly improvised rhythmic dance to Irish traditional music.  Its is found primarily in Connemara on the west coast of Ireland.  The 80min dvd was filmed at The Crane Bar in Galway Ireland with Johnny O'Halloran accompanying on melodeon.   This dvd is a "must have" for anyone who enjoys Irish dance & music.
