Ceili's are an Irish gathering with music, song & dance.  This isn't Riverdance - these are folk dances and very simple to learn. We have a live band, and a dance caller/instructor who will start the night at 7pm by teaching footwork - 3's, 7's, jig step, and a ceili swing. Then its time to burn shoe leather the rest of the night. We recommend leather soled shoes that glide, and be prepared to shed a few layers of clothing as this is an aerobic workout. Dances are suitable to ages 10+ . We walk thru all dances slowly before the music starts.  The dance card includes an Irish Waltz, polka's, hornpipes, jigs & reels.  No partners reqd  - just bring your smiles!    If you aren't a dancer,  that's ok, you can enjoy the fun from the sidelines.
