Irish Hooley   
The photos below are from the Irish Hooley held Feb 27th, 2010  5-10pm.
at North Hill Community Center in Des Moines, WA 
(west of SeaTac airport @ 20827 3rd AveS.  Click for MAP ) 
   
 The Irish Hooley is where musicians, dancers, family & friends gather for a fun evening.
It starts with a pot luck supper,  followed by a trad Irish jam session, singing, ceili & Irish set dancing & laffs.  All dances are taught & easy to learn.  Musicians take turns leading & selecting tunes. Suggested donation is $5 each or $10 family max.

April 24th Hooley Update: Katie & Dermot Owens lost their 5yr old son in a tragic accident last week. 
Dermot, a Belfast native, is a daytime mgr/waiter at Mick Kelly's restaurant in Burien.
The Iceland volcano ash is preventing his family members in Ireland from coming to lend a hand 
but we can all do something collectively to help this family.  
All funds from the next hooley will be donated to the Shea Conor Owens memorial fund !
