Sample #2
Since its birth in 1996, Solas has been loudly proclaimed as the
most popular, influential, and exciting Celtic band to ever emerge
from the United States. The Solas sound today is anchored by
founders Seamus Egan, who plays flute, tenor banjo, mandolin,
whistle, guitar and bodhran, and fiddler Winifred Horan. They are
two of the most respected, and imitated, musicians anywhere in
acoustic music. Mick McAuley from Kilkenny plays accordion and
concertina; Eamon McElholm from Tyrone plays guitar and keyboards.
Mairead Phelan of County Kilkenny provides the stunning
vocals

Delightful set dancing sample
from
Dungarvan, Co Waterford Ireland
There's a wonderful
light spirit & energy amongst all these Irish set dancers.
If you are planning a vacation to Ireland, be sure to take in
a set dancing ceili there. Even if you just sit in awe on the
sidelines, its a wonderful glimpse at traditional Irish culture.
Most Irish communities have regular gatherings closeby with
delightful music and hours of dancing excitement on the
floor. Far too many of the set dance dvd's for purchase
today dub out the footwork sound. That
ought to be illegal !!!
If you enjoy insync battering, also check out this Cavan
set .
