June 7-9th  Bellingham Highland Games 
 Hovander Homestead Park in Ferndale, WA
 just 1 mile off exit 262 from I5,  roughly an hour and a half north of Seattle

Includes highland dancing, bagpiping ,Celtic harps & traditional Scottish athletic events like the tossing of the caber, a log the size of a telephone pole. You'll see fiddle & harp demonstrations, Scottish country dancing, and hear traditional Scottish Drum & Pipes Bands. There's booths of Celtic arts & crafts & food, and for grown-ups there's a fabulous beer garden on-site with plenty of freshly crafted Scottish Ales.    Best of all ladies - MEN IN KILTS !!!!

 June 13th Traditional Scottish Tea presented by the Caledonian & St Andrew Society

 The Society welcomes back, Kilmany, a 12 piece Scottish ensemble of violins, flutes, oboe, piano, bass, guitar, and bodran (Celtic drum) led by Phillip Wilkinson, founder and director. Joining Kilmany will be the Shelton Highland Dancers, directed by Karen Shelton-Johnson.  The program will include the Highland Dancers and traditional Scottish songs such as "Skye Boat Song" "Will Ye No Come Back Again?". A traditional Scottish Tea will be served at intermission. "Kilmany" is a small village near the north coast of Fife (north of Edinburgh) where Phillip's Scottish violin was made by William Gilchrist about 200 years ago.

   A modest $5.00 donation ($3.00 for children under 13) is invited to help defray the costs of the evening and contribute to the Scholarship Fund.
